3-Minute Thesis
My fellow AIL 689 cohort and I were responsible for hosting the 2020 Technology, Education, and Research Conference. My specific responsibility was being the co-conference chair. Because of COVID-19, we hosted a virtual conference by building a website and utilizing social media with the tag titled #TERC20. Our conference had several poster presentations, a round table discussion, and two three-minute thesis presentations. I performed one of the three-minute thesis presentations. During this presentation, I discussed the adoption of technology by older business professionals, which is also my research topic of interest.

Selecting a Dissertation Topic
My professor helped me finalize a dissertation topic by providing the class resources that discussed the dissertation topic selection process. I have attached a discussion board post that demonstrates my thought process of selecting my topic, and how I did not want it to be too broad. I also considered the importance of making my topic something that applies to my career goals, which I feel I accomplished.
