Mobile App Prototype

I demonstrated that I could create a mobile learning app prototype using universal instructional design best practices and Adobe X.D. software. Before I built the mobile app, I researched many app development tools in and outside the education field. I am pleased that I could learn more about the app development tools that I could possibly access in the future if needed.

Building the mobile app gave me hands-on experience and confidence to use the mobile learning theories and strategies that I have learned in this course and other AIL courses. I also did a quantitative and qualitative data analysis to evaluate my mobile app functionality and teaching potential by seeking feedback from my classmates. In return, I assessed the functionality and learning pedagogy of the mobile apps that were created by my classmates.

Project Specification Plan

To compliment the mobile app, I wrote a paper that explained my mobile app's user profiles, the mobile learning lesson plan and objectives, and the developmental resources that I used to create the app. I also created a storyboard for my app that illustrated my ability to stay "on brand" by using specific colors and typography to complement an organization's branding guidelines.
