Introduction to Instructional Design Presentation Visual Aid
I gave a presentation in class that discussed instructional design as a discipline. I explained how to accommodate people's cognitive abilities, and then I focused on student learning. A visual aid was used to complement my presentation.
Creating Instructional Goals and Objectives Overview Video
Video Viewable Upon Request: youtu.be/eRUGn1rbGxE
The course covered how to create instruction by planning, designing, and implementing interventions. Keeping with this topic, I developed an overview video of A.H. Brown's and T.D. Green's chapter on the subject of creating goals and objectives that can be found in their book, The Essentials of Instructional Design: Connecting Fundamental Principles with Process and Practice. I made the video using Articulate software, which helped me improve my e-learning authoring skills.
Instructional Design Planning Documentation
The course taught me how to write a complete and detailed instructional plan. By the end of the course, I wrote two instructional plans for two different classes. The documents included:
Front-End Analysis
Needs and Environmental Assessment
Learner Analysis
Instructional Content Analysis
Instructional Objectives
Sequence and Timing of Instructional Activities
Course Content and Appropriate Technologies to Maximize Learning
Formative Evaluation
Summative Evaluation
